Compliance Investigator

The Compliance Investigator will be responsible for investigating all agent-related complaints, monitoring and investigating any agent potential red flag situations, assisting internal and external legal counsels on any agent-related legal issues, and coordinating investigations into unfair competitive matters.

• Investigate all agent-related complaints
• Monitor and investigate any agent potential red flag situations
• Assist internal and external legal counsels on any agent-related legal issues
• Coordination of investigations into unfair competitive matters
• Inspect field agent sales practices
• Correspond with outside organizations, such as provincial insurance regulators
• Participate or lead special projects, initiatives, reviews, audits, etc.

• Must be full Bilingual in French/English
• Knowledge of the insurance regulations and/or fraud investigation experience preferred
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organization in both official languages
• Proven research and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.) as well as comfort with technology and usage of databases such as PowerBI, etc.
• Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for select investigations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
